Introduction
Excessive carbon emissions and environmental destruction have led to negative impacts of climate change, including rising temperatures, cyclones, floods, and various natural disasters. The Khasi community, residing in the Greater Sylhet Division, has been conserving carbon through environmental and ecosystem protection, which benefits the global atmosphere. Through the organization Mariang for Community and Ecosystem Services, we aim to improve the quality of life for members of the Khasi community while enhancing their carbon conservation efforts and protecting nature and ecosystems. This organization is committed to working tirelessly toward these goals and is a non-political, nonprofit institution.
